We met Becky when she traveled overseas with us to India on a Journey Trip in 2013. Now, as our church partnership director, Becky spends her days sharing the heart of World Orphans with churches, groups, and individuals. In this role, Becky enjoys leading teams and watching them build relationships with international churches. It brings her great joy to watch participants’ eyes opened to the plight of the orphan.
Before World Orphans, Becky attended Liberty University and received a degree in integrated studies in elementary education. After graduation, Becky was a first grade teacher for three years. Though it may seem surprising, Becky still uses her degree, as she frequently speaks publicly in front of both adults and children. Additionally, Becky helps schools, camps, and church children's programs engage with World Orphans through Campaigns. Her travels with World Orphans have taken her to India and Guatemala multiple times, and apart from World Orphans, she has traveled to the Dominican Republic, Canada, Mexico, and many countries in Western Europe.
When Becky is not leading trips, overseeing a church partnership, or assisting with a Campaign, she may be found cooking, baking, traveling, writing, catching up with old friends, or doing CrossFit. She and her husband, Kodi, reside in Michigan.
