Mark joined the World Orphans Board of Directors in 2008 and has constantly provided key direction and support for the ministry of World Orphans. Desiring to see the work of World Orphans up close and personal, Mark traveled to Asia and was touched to see how the local church cared for the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children. From there, it became evident that God was leading him to a life devoted to caring for orphans. Mark, now retired, previously held careers as an executive for a cable television company and as an owner of a small cable system business. Behind the scenes, Mark is a sports enthusiast, staying active in team sports such as hockey, softball, tennis, and volleyball. He loves fishing and boating and feels blessed to host events, retreats, and meetings. He and his wife, Mary Ann, live in Larkspur, Colorado, and attend Castle Oaks Church. They are blessed with one son, two daughters, and seven grandchildren.
