We’re delighted to introduce Kathy, Sr. Director of Wholistic Care. Before serving World Orphans, Kathy attended Kilgore College and held various accounting and administrative roles. Kathy has served with World Orphans since 2010, and in her current role, she inspires and equips the church through the coordination, participation, and execution of Wholistic Care training. She has experienced firsthand that real hope and lasting wholistic transformation comes through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With World Orphans, Kathy has traveled to Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Kenya, and Nicaragua. She rejoices that her personal childhood story and journey in Christ have been used to inflame her heart to engage and empower the global church to care for orphans and vulnerable children around the world. In addition to this role, she also serves as a partnership coordinator for the partnership between River Oaks Church in Tennessee and Fountain of Hope in Kenya, leading annual trips and growing relationships between the churches.
When she’s not traveling the world, you will find Kathy swimming, hiking, water skiing, cooking, having people in her home, or taking a nice long beach walk. Kathy resides in Maryville, Tennessee, and is married with three daughters. She says there is no greater joy or higher calling than loving her husband and raising their daughters.
