ABOUT THE CHURCH
Bethel Gospel church has a beautiful vision for planting many cell-based churches, specifically in very poor communities of their city. Rev. Dr. K. Sudhakar and his wife are leading their church to serve in some very meaningful ways, with outreach ministries targeting needs in the community. They are responding and caring for orphaned, abandoned, and at-risk children through their slum child education program, street children feeding program, and homes for children.
Rev. Dr. K. Sudhakar comes from a high caste Hindu background. He accepted Christ at the age of 22. He worked with Transworld Radio for several years before attending a training program in Singapore for cell church planting. The church’s mission is to plant many churches throughout the slums of Hyderabad. He and his wife serve together with their 3 children in this vital, dynamic community ministry. They are amazing examples of compassion, as they give and serve to a depth that boldly expresses Christ’s love and compassion for those in need.
