Alan is our senior director of advocacy, lives in Castle Rock, Colorado, and has served World Orphans since 2007. His wife is a volunteer advocate with World Orphans, and together they have four adult children and two granddaughters. He has a teaching degree in secondary education but spent his corporate career in the Automotive Aftermarket Industry in sales and marketing as a national account manager for a Fortune 500 Company. Now, he recruits, teaches, trains, encourages, and engages people into Kingdom-building work to care for and about orphaned and abandoned children. He enjoys the diversity of his role, as he is involved in every aspect of the ministry. He is well-traveled, having been to Burundi, China, Ethiopia, Haiti, India, Iraq, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda. In his personal time, Alan is totally nuts about bicycling, snow skiing, hiking, cooking, and hanging out with family and friends.
