Jesse joined World Orphans in 2008, serving as the director of advocacy for the Eastern US. His background in engineering provided him with the pivotal skills to organize and structure much of the Advocacy Department we see today. In 2012, Jesse, his wife, Sarah, and their family relocated to Cambodia to serve communities with little Gospel advancement. After spending the first year immersing themselves in the Khmer language and culture, the Blaines are currently developing a strategy for orphan care, including building a strong staff and working to establish church partnerships in cooperation with Children in Families (CIF). They love playing sports, sailing, and establishing new friendships with the locals in their community. Originally from Arlington, Virginia, they now reside in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with their two daughters.
